The first FIFA World Cup hosted across three countries has also introduced a unique feature: three opening ceremonies. The first took place at Mexico City's iconic Azteca Stadium on Thursday (June 11), while additional ceremonies are scheduled for Friday (June 12) in Toronto, Canada, and Los Angeles, United States.
