Bonnie Tyler, the Welsh singer whose unmistakable raspy voice became one of the defining sounds of pop and rock music, died at the age of 75 on Wednesday night in a hospital in Faro, Portugal. According to a statement released by her family and management, she died from complications related to the illness for which she had been receiving treatment.
