Brazilian fans know this feeling. It arrives quietly, sits down on the couch without asking permission and refuses to leave. The defeat to Norway hurt, of course. Not just because of the 2-1 scoreline. Not just because of Erling Haaland's two goals. Not even because it happened on July 5, a date that has carried the ghost of Paolo Rossi since 1982. It hurt because it was over.
