Spain Faces General Strike Amid Housing Crisis

Spain’s two largest trade union confederations, UGT and CCOO, have called a 24-hour general strike in response to the country’s housing crisis, which has pushed up property and rental prices. It will be the first general strike in Spain in 14 years.
