The number of humanitarian workers falling victim to violence remains at historically high levels. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 907 aid workers were killed, injured or kidnapped in 2025 while carrying out assistance operations in conflict zones.
